The Energy Day Festival, founded in Houston in 2011, is the first free family event of its kind. It showcases the importance of science, technology, engineering and mathematics through more than 70 interactive demonstrations and exhibits. Hands-on STEM activities teach students and their families about various forms of energy, science, technology, efficiency and conservation. Throughout Energy Day, students interact with energy experts to learn about the different careers in the energy industry and how they impact their local communities. Plan a family outing or STEM field trip to experience the energy industry first-hand.

In 2020, Energy Day Colorado will be held in Denver on Sept. 26, and in Houston on Saturday, Oct. 17.
